What happens to your information?
This page explains Pitch & Progress privacy in simpler language for pupils. You can also read the full Privacy Notice or ask a parent, guardian or teacher to help.
Why is there a Studio?
Your teacher uses your private Studio to show what to practise between lessons and to remember what may need attention next time. It is not a public profile and other pupils cannot search for you.
What information might be there?
Your Studio can contain your display name, the work your teacher sets, practice attempts, notes or questions you choose to add, and a short practice video if you choose to upload one. You do not need to post publicly or share an email address just to use a teacher-issued pupil code.
Who can see it?
Your Studio is for the people involved in your learning, such as your teacher and an authorised parent or guardian. Pitch & Progress uses access controls so unrelated users should not be able to open it.
Do I have to upload a video?
No. Practice videos are optional. If you upload one, it is kept privately in Pitch & Progress for 30 days and is then scheduled for deletion. An authorised person may download a permitted copy before then.
Can I ask a question about my data?
Yes. Tell a parent, guardian or teacher, or contact privacy@pitchprogress.com. You can ask what information is held and raise something that does not look right.
What Pitch & Progress does not do
There is no public pupil feed, follower count or advertising profile in the pupil experience. Your practice is there to support your music learning, not to make you compete with strangers.
